barajam demo: released!
so i've had this game sitting, half-finished, on my itch.io dash for the past 3 yers, and this year when barajam was coming up i decided, hey, i really would like to finish the thing, so why not work on it during barajam? well, two months later, and... it's definitely still not finished, but it's a lot closer to being finished, at least.
this version totally changes the mechanics from the old version, and i've added in some different content-gating skills... it's still very much a work in progress. this is a demo! there's not as much content as i'd like, & i'm committing to at least one more update, just to add savegames and a sex scene tracker and to actually finish some of the still-missing scenes, so we'll see how it goes. adding in character portraits would also be great, but for that i'd need to find somebody willing to draw at least a handful of character+expression images.
anyway, here's a giant pile of barret pornography. hope you enjoy!!

I know it might be a niche kink, but maaaaayybe you could add some scat somewhere? It's barely a step above what's already in the game. Just suggesting, with a high pisspig level, it would kinda fit in. Maybe a blumpkin scene, or facefarting.
well, i'm glad you liked it! i'm not really into scat, so i won't be adding any-- really, the anal-to-oral and the cum-all-the-way-through stuff is pretty much as close to acknowledging that as i'm comfortable writing.
Perfectly reasonable, the game is already pushing a lot of good buttons anyway, can't wait for more monsterfucking.
HI so i have next to no final fantasy knowledge at all - to the point i had to google barret (that is one FINE google result omg), and i'm not usually one to read fan content of something i have no idea of, but i'm just so excited to read new stuff from you! i've gotten like two scenes in and i'm already loving it, even though, again, i have no idea who these guys are (i HAVE been meaning to get into final fantasy though...is this my chance?) and power bottoming isn't even my usual thing? but god, jesus christ, holy fuck. the new hive was just SO good and i think about it so much you could have rewritten the phone book and i would give it a try. love your stuff. hope you're well and thank you so much for sharing this demo! i'll just dive in <3

barret is definitely the dreamiest character in ff7, for sure. especially in the remake where they gave him those soulful puppy eyes!! that's uh. not exactly the emotional tone he takes in this game, though :V
this game is definitely a bit more uhhhh crudely pornographic than 'the new hive', which is very funny to say given how pornographic that was. i'm not totally sure how much more effort i'm gonna put towards expanding this game, but i'm at least gonna get some barret/dyne and barret/red xiii interactions in there. anyway, hope you enjoy what's there!
